**Description**
Retail Store Lead Associate
Assist general store management with Acuity Optical retail store operation, including but not limited to sales, staff management, budgetary controls, and inventory controls, while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Assist store management with daily store operations and labor levels.
Assist with recruitment and training of new store employees.
Lead and motivate team; ensure all store employees achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service.
Work with store management to implement effective sales strategies & ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and all employees and providers are aware of current promotions.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize sales results.
Help drive retail store performance by translating analytics into actions & sustainable results.
Identify changes in competitive pressures & customer shifts; make recommendations to strategies and tactics.
Provide daily, weekly and monthly statistics to management.
REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED; minimum 1-3 years of related work experience in a retail and customer service environment; or an equivalent combination of both education and work experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule and hours necessary to open and/or close retail store, including weekends, nights, weekends and holidays.
DESIRABLE: Associates Degree; prior experience in the optical industry. Experience leading and training staff.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:
Certified Dispensing Optician (preferred)
