About the Role:
The Healthcare Operations Manager for the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Palm Springs will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. This position is responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of the ASC, including staff management, budgeting, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The manager will work closely with medical staff to optimize workflows and enhance patient experiences, ensuring that the facility runs smoothly and effectively. Additionally, the role involves strategic planning to improve service delivery and implement best practices in healthcare management. Ultimately, the Healthcare Facility Manager will contribute to the overall success of the ASC by fostering a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or similar healthcare facility required.
- Certification in healthcare management (e.g., CMPE, FACHE) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the ASC, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient care services and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
