The Certified Medical Assistant for Cardiology performs basic technical, administrative and clerical services for a licensed physician, surgeon or a licensed podiatrist. Performs non-invasive routine support services under the supervision of a licensed physician in an office or clinic setting. Administers medication by intra-dermal, subcutaneous, or intramuscular injections or Administers medication orally, sublingually, vaginally or rectally, or by providing a single dose to a patient for immediate self-administration. Administers as ordered by the Provider according to the six (6) rights: patient, medication, dose, time, route and documentation and according to established standards, policies and procedures. NOTE: In every instance, prior to administration of medication by the Medical Assistant, a licensed physician or another person authorized by law to do so must verify the correct medication and dosage. 3.2 3.3 Performs electrocardiograms. Screens, triages, and documents all calls from patients according to appropriate policy and procedure. Ensemble Therapy is a compassionate, multi-disciplinary clinic committed to providing exceptional care for all our patients. We work collaboratively across disciplines to offer neuro-affirming, patient-centered, and play-based therapy. We are seeking a BCBA to provide services both at our Palm Desert clinic and in-home within the Coachella Valley's surrounding cities. In this role, you will support individuals and families by delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services, conducting functional analyses and assessments, and developing effective skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies. This position combines both in-home and in-clinic service delivery.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Complete all aspects of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior support plans (BSP) for clients from birth to 18 (dependent upon BCBA's scope of practice)</li>
<li>Conduct assessments (e.g. VB-MAPP, AFLS, Vineland and other supplemental assessments based on the need of the client).</li>
<li>Go into the homes to conduct FBAs, complete progress monitoring, and to provide direct supervision to RBTs/BTs.</li>
<li>Develop individualized treatment plans (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions)</li>
<li>Provide direct case supervision to BTs  and monitor client progress towards goals.</li>
<li>Provide parent training based on the principles of ABA.</li>

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The overall purpose of the Wellness Nurse position is to provide Person-Centered Care consistent with accepted standards and expectations of Sunshine Retirement Living and state regulations. The Wellness Nurse responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring resident health status, providing physical care, and early diagnosis and intervention of resident changes in health status. Wellness Nurses must communicate politely and effectively with family, primary physicians, and perform all administrative charting or other services as required by regulations and company policy.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

<li>A current, valid LPN or RN license is required</li>
<li>Education/and or experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred</li>
<li>Supervisory experience preferred</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and speak the English language and to verbally communicate with different levels of staff, families, and any outside customers in a professional and polite manner</li>
<li>No disqualifying criminal or care offenses as defined by regulatory guidelines</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations</li>

<li>Adhere to the Resident Rights and promotes safety, dignity, and respect among all residents</li>
<li>Ensure safety of residents through appropriate behavioral interventions</li>
<li>Promotes employee relations, facilitates communication and problem solving</li>
<li>Ensures that community staff follow facility policies and procedures</li>
<li>Coaches, mentors, and counsels resident care staff as needed and keeps Health Services Director informed of any concerns</li>
<li>Ensures appropriate and timely response to customer service concerns</li>
<li>Demonstrates knowledge of resident care and its impact on residents and families</li>
<li>Assists resident care staff in performing duties as needed</li>
<li>Assists with immediate incident reporting and analysis of incidents and corrective action, when appropriate</li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality of community and resident information</li>
<li>Attend community meetings and in-service trainings as required</li>
<li>Know the emergency plan, fire evacuation routes, extinguishers, and other facility safety features</li>
<li>Cart and chart audits as scheduled</li>

<li>Create monthly resident lists for Home Health, Hospice, and Oxygen</li>
<li>Ability to work with 911 and attend to emergency calls</li>
<li>Ability to work/run a medication cart</li>
<li>Report to work on time as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality. Consistent and regular attendance is required</li>
<li>Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner</li>
<li>Complete all other duties assigned by the Health Services Director and/or Executive Director</li>
