Meet has engaged on an exclusive search with a growing, Pre-IPO biotech in South San Francisco that is seeking a Head of Translational Science to guide internal and external nonclinical studies for preclinical programs. This leadership role is ideal for a hands-on executive-level translational leader who knows how to bring antibody programs forward.
Key Responsibilities Partnering with senior management, lead on strategy for PK/PD translational studies, including proof-of-concept studies (in-vitro & in-vivo), and IND-enabling studies.
Work closely with research in designing and implementing studies for pharmacology, toxicology, and biomarker assessment.
Support nonclinical sections for regulatory filings for US, EU, Japan, etc.
Lead and manage scientists across Translational group.
Key Qualifications PhD in Cellular/Molecular biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years industry experience. MS in relevant discipline with more years of experience may also be considered.
Demonstrated experience leading Translational Science, particularly from preclinical stage, taking multiple antibody programs to clinic is required.
Leadership experience managing a multifunctional group across translational science required.
Ideally coming from small biotech setting.
